I'm so happy to welcome you into my adventures!

 

I'm Allie-Sun, your host and guide through all these adventures and the wonderful world we live in! Welcome! Hopefully my story will inspire you to live a life you've always dreamed of, and listen to your heart all the time! I promise you, there's no other feeling or life like it!

 

 

Here's a little of my history...

 

In 2009, I studied abroad in Spain and was left with a desperate hunger for travel and an unquenchable thirst for culture. I knew before I'd even landed on Californian soil I wanted to return to Spain, and that bouncing around in the world is where I belonged. But how would I ever make that happen?

 

After finishing my studies in 2011, I scored a couple contract jobs with the Disney/ABC Television Group in Southern California. And like so many before me, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue big dreams and try to make something of myself. So there I sat, in my cubicle, for 40+ hours a week, usually staring at pictures on Pintrest of places far, far away, doubting I'd ever make it to a coveted corner office. Every cell of my Being screamed to jump through the screen and end up wherever that was. I didn't care where it was, I just knew my cube wasn't the best I could do. Then God gave me the chance of a lifetime -- the chance to go back!

 

So after a week full of tears and deliberation, I kissed the corporate world goodbye, as well as all I knew and loved, accepted a position as an English teacher, and moved to Southern Spain in January 2013! And where I'd once moved before in order to pursue a life I thought I should be living, this time I moved to follow my dreams and finally honor everything I felt inside.

 

I've since returned to the United States (as of June 2015), taken some other adventures to new places (like Costa Rica to complete a yoga teacher training!), and embarked on a journey of finding balance. Plus, I finally figured out what I want to do with my life and had some amazing visions about my future I'm now eager to pursue!

Currently, I'm working with a company that does sales all over the country, and have been blessed with some new stateside adventures through it! Though my big dream still remains to teach yoga, dance, meditation, health, healing, and wellness around the world, and ultimately, have my own wellness centers later in life.

 

For now, I'm working on living my practicing, learning what I can and need to know, and also trying to maintain my sense of true self, whilst navigating a heavily consumer-influenced world. It's a hard path, but I know it's meant to make me stronger, and is teaching me many valuable lessons. 

 

Join me as I travel around, with hopes of learning and growing daily, inspiring and helping others, and satiating my soul!

• January: possibly 2-3 weeks in Cape Town, South Africa

• End of February-Early March: Costa Rica for Envision Festival round two + some Costa Rican travels

• May: possible European adventure

• Labor Day Weekend: Wedding in California!

• July 8-10: Wedding in Colorado

• July 22: MY SISTER'S WEDDING in Alabama!!!

• August 10-16: Hawaii with my family to release the ashes of my aunt and grandma

• August 17-23: Global Oregon Eclipse Gathering
