The Earth's largest continent, Asia is home to the world's largest population. With countries such as Thailand, China, Japan, India, Indonesia, all the Middle East and more, it's no wonder travelers around the globe flock to Asia to adventure around!

For now, I've spent very limited time in Asia, and it's mostly been concentrated in the Middle East, but one of these days I'll get there. And I've got a pretty strong feeling much of my life will be spent there... I'd especially love to spend a lot of time in Japan, and see firsthand the culture that has played a huge part in the development and habits of my family and I.

Israel

In June of 2015, three generations of women in my family embarked on an Israeli adventure for 10 days! We went on an organized 8-day tour with a baptist church from Bakersield, California, and the informational input we faced was so much and so fast, I'm still not even sure what we saw or where we went! But, it was an incredible time, and we left with a deep love for the country.

The food was absolutely amazing, the people really kind, and the country surprisingly modern. Overall, Israel set new expectations, and has made its way onto my "Must Return To" list!

Istanbul, Turkey

After our Israel tour ended, we packed up and headed off to Istanbul for a few more days of touring, adventuring, and of course, eating! The time I spent in Istanbul was on the European side, where the majority of the main tourist attractions/sights are. It was incredible to see things such as the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque, as well as all the other mosques and tourists around town. Then when the women of my family clan left, I skipped over to the Asian side to stay with a friend! Don't miss out on the Asian side of Istanbul! It's an incredible place, full of wonderful bars and cafes, and the cities tea and card game culture was so spectacular. I really fell in love with Istanbul on the Asian side. Fewer tourists, more local life, and a really cool cultural vibe going on. Istanbul, where Easts meets West, and everything is best!
