Californian Favorites
Lake Tahoe.
I consider myself incredibly blessed to have grown up going to a place like Lake Tahoe. My grandparents lived there when I was younger, my other grandmother has a condo there still, and it's always been a place that means family, fun, and great nature. And amazingly enough, of all the places I've traveled, it remains one of my Top Five Favorite Spots on Earth!
A slice of heaven on Earth, you can enjoy snow sports in the winter, and hang around and on the lake all summer long. With forests all around and mountain towns scattered everywhere, it's no wonder Tahoe is one of the top spots in the state!
San Francisco.
Almost every time I go to a new city, I wonder if it will displace San Francisco as my all-time fave. 25+ countries and countless cities later, and SF reigns as my favorite city in the world. Living there costs a pretty penny, but my gosh, if I could, I just might!
With a little bit of something for everyone, and such a variety of vibes, San Fran continues to be one of the most unique and wonderful places I've ever spent time. It's a place where people from all walks of life come together to live in one generally-conscious place.
