Ok, I'm actually a bit beyond ashamed right now. I can not believe it's been almost three months since I blogged.
Wait, I'm sorry, that's a lie. Not a good way to restart all this. Let me start over...
I totally can believe it. I'd like to be surprised by this short sabbatical, but I'm not.
When I'm out adventuring, it's really hard for me to push the pause, sit down, and blog about it. I write in my journal almost every single day, but to come online makes me feel like I'm disconnecting myself from the life and things going on around me, especially if I've already summarized in my journal that morning. And for what? In hopes that I'll become a big wig writer someday!? That someone, somewhere will come across my writing and say, "By gosh! I think she's the one! Let's hire her! Pay for all her travel, and she can write about the flavors and folk!" (Please be sure you read that with a male, British accent as I intended it to be said.) Sure it could happen, but if that's what I really wanted, wouldn't I be more dedicated to this website? Wouldn't I "make time to write"? I could argue either way..
I guess I just too often forget what the real purpose of my blog is:
To encourage people to break out of the cage and go travel.
To show others that affordable (dare I say, "cheap"!?) travel is totally possible, and that a life on the road isn't that hard to hack.
To share my stories of encounters with others, as a way to demonstrate to the world that no, it's not a scary place, nor are people bad. They're not just sitting around waiting to hurt or kidnap you, and when you really need it, it seems there's always someone there to help.
A testament to what a life lived in faith looks like, and all the things that come about when you trust the voice of God to be your Guide. (Hey, hey, Holy Spirit!!)
And, an outlet. Because even if I'm not making money doing it, writing is one of the gifts God gave me, and I've gotta use it! Plus, writing is like therapy for me, and it's fun to play with words. (^_^)
But mostly I just want you all to know what an awesome world it is out there! Yay! :)
However, before I go too far in this direction, let's move on. It is a welcome back party after all! :D
The last three months ended up being SUCH an adventure, I still laugh when I think about it. The unreality of it all is astounding, and I am sooo grateful. So much more came out of my time in Central America than I expected, which just confirm-s/ed for me why I love to travel so much: you never know what's going to happen, or what's going to come from it! Who will pop into your life, what opportunities will arise, or where it's going to take you! But let's rewind...
Back in February I left for Costa Rica, was there for a few weeks, fest-ed out at Envision (TOPS, seriously, TOPS as far as festivals go. You can read my review of it here!), then lounged around in a hammock for a week on my friend's property post-fest, dipped into Panama for a couple more hammock-hung days, then re-entered Costa to go do my Yoga Teacher Training, which lasted 21 days. While in Costa, I met some people, and so instead of catching my return flight to Cali like God told me to (story coming soon), I booked one to Miami, and started a whole new unexpected adventure Stateside; one that took me literally from coast-to-coast!
In the last three months, I have been in three countries, two states, countless cities (I actually don't think I could count them all if I tried at this point. Well over 15 by now...), and slept in so many different places I can't keep them straight. I've made some new friends that I know I'll have for life, been to two festivals, recorded and photographed more than ever before (if anyone sees me from Envision or Coachella footage please throw down a tag!), out to numerous dinners, and even started a new job. And a perfectly-fitting gypsy job at that! Oh, and I busted open my ankle a couple weeks ago, and was on crutches till yesterday. Hahahaha! Freakin' life! I love it!
So much has happened, I'm not even sure where to start. But don't worry, I don't plan on giving you a three month break-down all in one post. No, I want to marinate on each experience, and then I'll write about them. Maybe I'll crank out a bunch of posts then upload them over the next couple weeks. Who knows! All I do know is: I'm currently at my parents' house, with no car, am hobbling around waiting for my sprain to heal and skin to grow back together, and it's the perfect time to catch up on some writing. Reaching for the stars: I'll write a book in the time I'm house-bound. But with Lightning in a Bottle (LIB) on the horizon, I'm not counting on that. ;)
Anyways, that's enough me. I'm with me all day every day, especially now, and would like to know about y'all! What adventures have you had these past months? Any cool summer plans made? As soon as I'm able to prance like before, I'd love to see some of you at Yosemite, a festival, or basically anywhere! I'm like, stockpiling energy for adventures right now, so once I'm all better it's going to be time to play HARD. And work... Yeah, gotta do a bit of that. Haha!
I hope you have an absolutely A M A Z I N G weekend darlings! Dance for me, prance for me, and just laugh a lot at life - none of us are making it out alive anyways! ;) (Not morbid, just a reminder not to take it so seriously.)

I LOVE YOU EARTH! So stoked to be living here! Can't wait to get back out into the wild and roam around more! Gah! I just am so grateful to be alive!!
Abounding opportunities all the time! Seize them, baby!!
E N D L E S S Blessings, Love, Light, & Wonder to you all!!
